Practicing Calligraphy and Working on developing Musho
🌿 Welcome to Mosslight Art
Mosslight creates abstract landscapes rooted in memory and atmosphere, and is developing Muji Sho (無字書) - an emerging practice of wordless calligraphy where breath, body, and ink move beyond language.

🌿 About Mosslight
I don’t paint the land itself. I paint my relationship with it.
Through watercolour, ink, and graphite, I explore landscapes as they pass through memory, emotion, and the body. My work is rooted in a quiet noticing, a way of responding to light on moss, the hush of fog across distant fields, or the wind that moves through grasses just before rain.
I begin not with detailed scenes, but with fragments- the feeling of standing somewhere wide and open, or the echo of a place I’ve never seen except in a dream.
Each painting is an attempt to hold onto something fleeting - not the view, but the mood it left behind.
Mosslight is the name I work under and the space where I gather these responses.
A place for expressive abstract landscapes, poetic reflection, and the quiet spirit of land and weather.
Thank you for being here.
When the world gets loud, come here.
